Welcome to Wild Wood Growers

About Us

Seasonal gourmet oyster mushrooms, herbs, and microgreens production. Grown with care and harvested by hand.

Small batch harvests, inspired by biodynamic and regenerative growing practices.

You can purchase fresh gourmet mushrooms, oyster mushroom grow kits, and herbs at seasonal farmer’s markets in Yorkshire.

Our story so far

Wild Wood Growers was born from a love of growing and working with plants which have emerged in many iterations from kitchen gardening, allotment keeping, herbalism, aromatherapy, and plant medicine.

Our dream for Wild Wood Growers is to produce high-quality, nutritious, and locally grown mushrooms, herbs, and microgreens so that the wider community can access our produce at seasonal farmer’s markets in Yorkshire. You can also find some of them here in our online shop.

We also offer online and in-person courses and workshops, covering mushroom and herb production.

Our hope is to create an inclusive community network of sustainably produced food growers and consumers. We aim to inspire people on the wonders of locally and homegrown produce.

Community Collaborations – Work With Us

It’s our mission to help as many people in our communities as possible to enjoy the benefits of growing their own food. This includes the wider social and mental health benefits so that they can personally experience them.

We collaborate with individuals, peer community groups, educational establishments, and public bodies, so that we can support local communities to transform under utilised areas of land and buildings into small-scale mushroom farms, and food growing spaces.

Please contact us directly if you’d like to explore the possibility of working in collaboration with your organisation.
